Mythos

Eaze is an American cannabis-delivery marketplace and operator, founded in 2014 by Keith McCarty and headquartered in San Francisco, that connects licensed dispensaries and brands with adult-use and medical cannabis consumers in California via an on-demand mobile app and same-day fulfillment network.

The company began as a technology platform that surfaced inventory from independent dispensaries to consumers and routed delivery drivers between them, then evolved into a hybrid operator-and-marketplace following the 2018 launch of California's adult-use market and a series of vertical-integration moves — including the 2020 acquisition of Oakland-based delivery operator NUG and the 2022 acquisition of Green Dragon — that gave it direct retail and depot licenses in California and several other markets. Eaze has weathered the broader cannabis-industry downturn that hit publicly-traded MSOs particularly hard from 2022 onward, restructuring multiple times while remaining one of the more recognizable consumer-facing brands in legal U.S. cannabis.
