Mythos

Claygent Connectors is a component of 📝Claygent inside 📝Clay that brings first-party context to research agents — call transcripts from 📝Gong, 📝Salesforce records, Google Docs, and more — so research spans both the web and a company's internal knowledge. It exists because web-only research misses what a company already knows about its accounts, from past calls to deal history. It is built for GTM teams whose Claygents need to reason over internal data as well as public sources.

Key Capabilities

  • Internal sources — Agents read connected first-party systems such as call transcripts, CRM objects, and documents alongside the open web during a single research run.
  • MCP extension — Through 📝Clay Custom MCP, any external Model Context Protocol server can be added so its tools become callable by Claygent and AI columns.
  • Combined reasoning — An agent can weigh internal history against fresh public signals, for example checking a prospect's last call notes before drafting outreach about new funding.

Getting Started

  1. Connect the internal systems the agents should read, such as Gong or Salesforce.
  2. Reference the connected source in a Claygent's instructions.
  3. Test the agent on a few rows to confirm it pulls the right internal context.
