Mythos

Missive Integrations are the catalog of services and automation tools that connect into 📝Missive's shared inbox — spanning native integrations, automation-platform passthroughs, and 📝OpenAI-backed AI features that run on a customer-supplied API key.

Most shared-inbox products force teams to choose between living inside a closed-ecosystem ticketing tool or stitching email together with brittle middleware. Missive's integration surface keeps the email thread as the conversation primitive while wiring in CRMs, ticketing, automation platforms, and AI assistants where they're useful.

The integrations are built for teams that run their business out of shared email — accounting and finance firms, customer support and success operations, agencies, and sales teams that close on threads — and want CRM, ticketing, and AI to layer onto the inbox without replacing it.

Key Capabilities

  • Native integrations — Two dozen direct connections to CRMs and ticketing systems, including Salesforce, ClickUp, 📝Asana, ChargeDesk, and OpenAI for in-thread AI drafting.
  • Automation-platform passthroughs — Connections to 📝Zapier, 📝Relay.app, Integrately, and 📝Make extend the inbox to thousands of additional apps via no-code workflows.
  • Two-way Slack integration — Cross-post messages between inbox threads and 📝Slack channels, with Slack approvals automatically spawning Missive tasks back into the shared workspace.
  • Bring-your-own-key OpenAI — Customers connect their own OpenAI account, so Missive can offer custom prompts, thread summarization, and tone-adjusted drafting without billing markup.
  • Rules engine — Keyword and condition triggers auto-assign, label, snooze, or apply replies; combined with integrations, this enables conditional routing and AI-assisted triage workflows.

Getting Started

Most Missive integrations are configured from the in-app settings:

  1. Open Missive and navigate to Integrations in workspace settings.
  2. Choose a native integration or an automation platform for broader app coverage.
  3. Authenticate against the target service — for OpenAI, paste a customer-owned API key.
  4. Configure mapping, triggers, or sync rules in the integration's settings panel.
  5. Use the integration via thread-level actions, automated Rules, or AI features as appropriate.
