Objective
Rachael Nelson is the Los Angeles-based Founder and CEO of Brandy, a platform designed to scale authentic word-of-mouth marketing using proprietary Artificial Intelligence (AI) data models. Since launching Brandy in January 2025, she has focused on empowering "everyday consumers" as the primary drivers of brand growth, moving away from traditional influencer models. Her strategic vision is grounded in a rigorous technical background that distinguishes her from typical growth executives. Prior to her product leadership roles at Eargo and Peluva, she operated as a hands-on engineer. At Bankrate, she architected Android ecosystems for The Points Guy and Wallaby, successfully rebuilding their mobile suites to achieve 99.9% crash-free rates. Her early career involved high-stakes technical environments, including developing military monitoring applications at Glenair and conducting research on dark matter and electric propulsion at NASA/Caltech.
Subjective
I met Rachael through the Founder's Table community, at a dinner where the guest she'd invited was none other than my friend Greg Baroth. We bonded over a love for Rabbit Holes and potent recommendations.
