Kilo released KiloClaw into general availability on February 24, 2026, targeting the operational overhead of self-hosting OpenClaw, an open-source agent that otherwise demands a dedicated always-on machine. The service provisions, hosts, and secures the agent instance, collapsing a multi-step infrastructure setup into a single managed deployment.
Deployed agents reach more than 500 AI models through Kilo Gateway, spanning commercial providers such as OpenAI and Google alongside open-weight models, with no vendor lock-in. Each agent connects to messaging platforms including 📝Telegram, 📝Discord, 📝Slack, and 📝WhatsApp, and ships with a headless Chromium browser, file management, scheduled automations, and persistent memory across sessions.
KiloClaw bills at Kilo Gateway's underlying API rates with zero markup on tokens and gives new users seven days of free compute; usage afterward draws on shared Kilo Code account credits. Kilo published PinchBench alongside the launch, an open-source benchmark scoring models across 23 real-world agent tasks.
