The Topia Glossary is a glossary of terms used frequently within the ethos of Topia.

Glossary

• Gating —  Restricting access to your world by either requesting authentication, putting a password on it, limiting access via an approved guest list, or implementing employee-only entry via SAML/Okta.

• Hub —  topia.io/hub is a dashboard for Topia world-owners.

• Hybrid Event —  Hybrid events are a blend of traditional in-person events paired with an online virtual one. Ideally, everyone attending will be able to participate in the event and engage with each other while also interacting with speakers and asking questions during sessions.

• Orthographic — Orthographic projections are a way to make 2D illustrations show accurately what things look like from the front, top, and side.

• Portal —  Modes of travel between worlds

• Scene — Pre-populated templates for world-building

• Warp —  Transfering from one part of the world to another
