Mythos

Inman is a real estate news and media organization founded in 1983 by Bradley Inman. It covers residential real estate, technology, and brokerage, publishing news, analysis, and industry rankings for agents, brokers, and the companies that serve them.

Inman's editorial work extends into live events and recurring franchises. Its conferences, held under the Inman Connect banner, gather brokerage leaders, technologists, and investors to track where the industry is heading. Alongside its reporting, Inman publishes influence rankings — most notably its list of the 100 Most Influential Real Estate Leaders — that have become a reference point for who shapes the business. It operates as an independent media entity; its online news arm grew through the 1990s and 2000s before the company was acquired by Beringer Capital in 2021.

I write a column for Inman (author page), have keynoted Inman Connect, and was named to Inman's 100 Most Influential Real Estate Leaders in 2013. It's been one of the steadiest venues for thinking out loud about where technology and real estate collide.
