Mythos

Gary Keller is an American 🏷️#entrepreneur and 🏷️#author working in residential real estate. He co-founded the real estate brokerage 📝Keller Williams in 1983 and serves as executive chairman of the board, having built the company from a single office in Austin, Texas, into one of the largest real estate franchises in the world by agent count. A graduate of Baylor University, he is known within the industry as a teacher, trainer, and coach, and his work centers on agent education, brokerage operations, and the economic models that underpin residential real estate businesses.

His most influential contributions are the books he co-authored with Jay Papasan and others. "The Millionaire Real Estate Agent" (2004) and "The Millionaire Real Estate Investor" (2005) codified production and investment models for real estate professionals, while "SHIFT: How Top Real Estate Agents Tackle Tough Times" (2008) addressed operating in down markets. In 2013 he and Papasan published "The ONE Thing: The Surprisingly Simple Truth Behind Extraordinary Results," a productivity book that extended his audience beyond real estate. He also established the Keller Center for Research at Baylor's Hankamer School of Business.

I had Gary on 📝Playmakers because he built the playbook a generation of agents trained on, and I wanted to hear how the person who codified those models thinks about the next shift in residential real estate.
