Stakeholder Capitalism is an alternative system to Shareholder Capitalism that prioritizes all stakeholders' interests, not just the shareholders (i.e., Owners, Investors, etc.). Among the key stakeholders are customers, employees, local communities, and the environment.
Under this system, a company's purpose is to create long-term value and not maximize profits and enhance shareholder value at the cost of other stakeholder groups.
