The Erotic Blueprint is a map that helps people articulate their sexual preferences. Like the Five different love languages, there is a hierarchy that changes depending on the situation and environment.
The five different ways people are turned on are Energetic, Sensual, Kinky, Fucking, and Shapeshifters.
Energetic
Energetic people are turned on by the story and situation. Anticipation, desire, tension, tease - these are what really get an Energetic lover excited.
The shadow side of the Energetic is that they can fall into unhealthy dating patterns. They can also short-circuit if a situation moves too fast, with the wrong energy.
Sensual
The sensual folks are turned on by the five senses. Scents, smells, rose petals, lights, etc... Sensual people love having their senses stimulated.
The shadow side of the Sensual is that they're very sensitive. If the setting is not perfect, they can quickly be turned off.
Kinky
Kinky folks love all things Taboo. This changes depending on the environment and people they're surrounded by. Kinky is separated into two categories: Psychological and Physical.
The shadow side of the Kinky is that they often feel a sense of shame associated with their desires. It can be hard for them to express what they want.
Fucking
Fucking people... just want to fuck and orgasm. Simple.
The shadow side is that they don't understand why all the other stuff is necessary, so they can be inconsiderate.
Shapeshifters
Shapeshifters like all the different sexual types. They are happy playing any role and fitting to the needs of their partners.
Their shadow side is that they often feel unsatisfied because they're not able to live the full spectrum of their sexuality.
