I’m Noah, the founder of the gtm engineer. I’ve been working in and around the 📝go-to-market world (marketing, growth, GTM ops, etc) with high-growth startups since 2017.
When chatGPT dropped its first model 2.5 years ago, it seemed likely that GTM would materially change, but it wasn’t entirely clear how.
As new tools and thought leaders have emerged, some of the changes are crystallizing, but they are also just beginning. I expect the next 12-24 months to consist of people and companies catching-up to the recent tooling and changes while ‘what is possible’ continues to accelerate.
That’s part of why I started the gtm engineer—to create a resource that I personally wish existed, and one that I could send to my friends (or my company) who ask me about the space. The gtm engineer is a hub (ideally the hub) for people to share useful tactics, mental models, job opportunities, crazy stories, and more about learning (and improving) the craft of “📝GTM engineering.”
You can expect more updates in the coming weeks and shoot me an email if you have any ideas / feedback about content or how to grow the gtm engineer more quickly ;). Here is the first of many editions of “The gtm engineer roundup,” a curation of resources and job opportunities to lend a helping hand on your journey. ⚙️
