Mythos

My anchor is one sentence I pick before a party and carry through the whole night. Not a performance goal. A state of being. I choose it 48 to 24 hours out, while I’m still calm and nothing is happening yet. That timing is the part people skip. An anchor picked in the moment isn’t an anchor, it’s a reaction.

Ones that work for me

  • “I stay connected to my body.”
  • “I choose what I open to.”
  • “I move between softness and power with ease.”
  • “I am allowed to pause, change, or stop at any time.”

Where I put it

Somewhere small and physical — a note on my phone, a bracelet, tucked into my outfit. It needs a place I’ll actually bump into, not a thing I’m supposed to remember. This is my home base. Everything else can move around it.
