Mythos

Conversation Summaries in πŸ“MythOS are a part of πŸ“Chat & RAG that turns a visitor's chat with your library into a short AI-written summary on your Activity timeline, but only when that visitor has said yes. A creator rarely has time to read every conversation people have with their library, yet those conversations show what readers came looking for. Summaries are for creators who keep visitor chat open and want to learn from it without reading transcripts or reaching past a visitor's consent.

Key Capabilities

  • Visitor consent first β€” every visitor is asked before their first message and may decline
  • Summary, never transcript β€” you see an AI-written summary with the visitor's name and questions
  • Only on a Yes β€” no answer, or No, keeps the chat anonymous and unsummarized
  • Your model, your key β€” summaries run on the model you choose, on your own key or platform credits
  • Idle sessions β€” a conversation is summarized after it goes quiet, not while the visitor is typing

Getting Started

  1. Open Settings β†’ Chat and find Conversation summaries
  2. Make sure an AI provider is set up in Settings β†’ AI, or that you have platform credits
  3. Turn summaries on and pick the model to write them
  4. Read new summaries on your Activity timeline as visitors who said yes finish chatting

FAQ

  • Can a visitor refuse? Yes. Every visitor is asked before anything is summarized and may decline; declining keeps the chat anonymous.
  • Do I see the full conversation? No. You see an AI-written summary, the visitor's name and their questions, never the transcript.
  • Are past chats summarized when I turn this on? No. Only conversations started after you turn summaries on are summarized.
  • Who pays for summaries? They run on your AI setup, your own provider key or your platform credits.
  • Are my own chats or API and MCP calls summarized? No. Owners are never asked, and callers that never answer stay anonymous.
