Mythos

Shared Templates extends 📝MythOS Editor Templates with public, forkable share links — creators toggle sharing on any template and get a standalone page where anyone can preview the structure, agent instructions, and notes, then clone it into their own library with one click. It exists so a template isn't just personal infrastructure — it can become a distribution channel for how someone thinks. It's for creators who want to share not just their knowledge, but the structure they use to build it.

Key Capabilities

  • One-toggle sharing — flip a switch in template settings to publish a shareable link at /templates/{id}
  • Public share page — a standalone page showing the template's body, agent matching criteria, and notes, with a default hero image, title, and description if none are set
  • Clone to library — signed-in users copy the template with one click; logged-out visitors sign in first, then complete the clone
  • Re-clone support — cloning the same template again creates a distinct, independently-named copy rather than being blocked
  • Suggested templates sidebar — platform-curated templates appear in Settings → Templates with one-click install

Getting Started

Browse suggested templates in your template settings, or ask a creator for their share link. To share your own, edit any template and toggle Share this Template on.

FAQ

  • Does unsharing remove clones others already made? No — clones are independent copies; unsharing the original only revokes the public page.
  • Can I clone the same template more than once? Yes — each clone is named distinctly rather than being blocked.
  • What does a share page show if I haven't set a title or image? A sensible default — the template name as title and a platform default hero image.
  • Do edits to my template update copies others have already cloned? No — clones are fully detached; editing the original doesn't touch a clone.
