Mythos

Slash Commands insert any 📝Rich Content block from the keyboard — type / anywhere in a memo and a menu of everything insertable appears, filterable as you keep typing. They exist as the single entry point for structured content that doesn't fit inline formatting or auto-detection. They're for inserting images, embeds, tables, callouts, templates, or a date without leaving the keyboard.

Key Capabilities

  • /image — upload an image via file picker, drag-drop, or paste
  • /template — insert a saved template from a submenu, preserving its formatting
  • /callout — insert a colored callout box
  • /embed — insert an iframe from raw HTML or a direct embed URL
  • /table — insert a 3×3 table with a header row
  • /date — insert today's date in long format

Getting Started

  1. Type / anywhere on a blank line
  2. Keep typing to filter (e.g. /em narrows to Embed)
  3. Press Enter or click to insert

FAQ

  • How is this different from auto-embed on paste? Auto-embed fires automatically when you paste a bare URL; /embed is for when you have iframe HTML or want to insert deliberately.
  • Where do templates come from? Any template you've created in Settings → Templates appears in the /template submenu.
  • Can I filter the menu? Yes — keep typing after / and the list narrows to matching commands.
  • Does / insert literal text if I don't select a command? Pressing Escape or clicking away cancels the menu and removes the trigger text.
