Mythos

Igor Mikloušić is a Croatian 🏷️#psychologist and Research Associate at the Institute of Social Sciences Ivo Pilar in Zagreb, where he has worked since 2007. He earned his PhD in psychology from the University of Zagreb, combining evolutionary and personality psychology in his research. His work centers on misinformation, conspiracy belief, and 📝vaccine hesitancy, and how these forces shape social cohesion. He is widely recognized as a researcher who bridges rigorous social science with questions of public trust and collective behavior.

Beyond his academic post, Mikloušić is the Founder and Director of Poliklinika Zora, a mental-health clinic. He received the Croatian State Award in 2019 for his work popularizing science, and he remains an active public communicator through Croatian television and blogging. He collaborated with Justin Lane and 📝CulturePulse on modeling COVID-era nationalism, threat perception, and vaccine hesitancy, with findings published in PLOS ONE.

I worked with Igor on the COVID-era modeling that became our PLOS ONE paper. He brings a clinician's discipline to messy social-cohesion data, which is rarer than it sounds.
