Mark Loughridge is an 🏷️#entrepreneur and video game industry veteran who co-founded Foundation 9 Entertainment and later led the Case Accelerator for Student Entrepreneurship (CASE) at Punahou School in Honolulu. As of 2026, Punahou lists him as CASE's director emeritus, supporting its students and programs as a volunteer.
During more than eleven years at Foundation 9, Loughridge oversaw creative direction, new product development, internal operations, and strategic planning as the company grew into what was then the largest independent game developer in the world, with more than 1,000 programmers, artists, animators, designers, and producers making games for partners including Disney, Pixar, Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo. CASE, established at Punahou in 2018 with a gift from Steve and Jean Case and the Case Foundation, works to build an entrepreneurial mindset in K–12 students. Loughridge graduated from Harvard College with a degree in East Asian Studies.
We met Mark when we were 📝Fractional CFO to Avatar Reality in Honolulu, which was building a much more visually realistic platform in the spirit of 📝Second Life. We reconnected over the 📝Financial Freedom Project.
