Mythos

ShipCalm is a third-party logistics (3PL) and fulfillment company for e-commerce brands, founded in 2017 by 📝Greg Moser and Ted Fogliani and headquartered in Carlsbad, California. It provides warehousing, pick-and-pack fulfillment, Amazon FBA prep, subscription-box and crowdfunding fulfillment, and outsourced customer support for digitally native brands in categories such as beauty, apparel, food and beverage, supplements, and pet products.

ShipCalm positions itself as an operations platform rather than a warehouse alone, pairing physical fulfillment with its own software: first its SmartWarehouses platform and more recently an AI operations tool called Marvin, both aimed at inventory planning, data integration, and reporting for client brands. As of 2026 it runs warehouses in Southern California and Indiana for coast-to-coast coverage, supplemented by partner facilities. In August 2022, Fogliani handed the CEO role to Moser, previously President and CTO, and moved to the board (ShipCalm; San Diego Business Journal). 📝John Zdanowski joined ShipCalm's board in November 2025.

Greg and Ted are friends, and ShipCalm is one of my 📝Portfolio Companies: I'm an investor and CFO advisor, and the company runs its books through 📝Weekly Accounting.
