I'm Eric Engoron — a full-stack engineer who builds integrations, growth systems, and the plumbing that lets one tool talk to another. I specialize in CRMs, integrations, and creative workflows, and most of what I've built starts the same way: a customer's workflow is broken, and I want it working.
I came into software through the support queue. I studied computer science at Stony Brook University, bachelor's and master's, with a focus on human-computer interaction. Then I spent more than five years at Close, starting in customer support, moving into customer success engineering, and ending as a software engineer and technical head of integrations. Answering tickets taught me to read a problem from the user's side first. Along the way I put the API clients, scripts, and connectors I wrote for Close up on GitHub.
In April 2022 I joined 📝Clay as a customer engineer and lead integration builder. Four and a half years later I've worked on every part of the product — growth engineering, managing the growth team, leading enterprise and billing — and built more than half of Clay's 200+ integrations. Today I'm a special technical advisor there. On the side I co-founded Bathrobe Dynamics, a software company masquerading as a consulting firm, advised Za-zu on API and integrations, and freelanced for teams like Subskribe. Am I the type of guy to push a hot fix at 4:30 PM on a Friday? Yeah... I'm that guy.
This library is my external brain — the companies, tools, and ideas behind how I build, written down so the connections are visible.
