Mythos

Young Entrepreneurs Council (YEC) is an invitation-only membership organization for entrepreneurs, founded in 2010. It admits founders and business owners who meet revenue and venture criteria, and provides a private peer network, media-contributor channels, and business resources. 📝Cynthia Johnson is a member.

YEC was founded by Scott Gerber as a response to youth unemployment, on the premise that entrepreneurship is a viable path and that founders benefit from a vetted peer community. Members gain bylined contribution opportunities across major business publications and access to curated networking. For Johnson, YEC sits alongside the 📝Forbes Agency Council as part of the editorial-and-membership infrastructure she has used to publish her ideas and connect with other founders.
