Harvard Business Review Advisory Council is an invitation-based research community run by Harvard Business Review. It is made up of business professionals and leaders who contribute to HBR's surveys, studies, and editorial research, and membership signals standing within mainstream management thought.
The council gives HBR a standing panel of practitioners to draw on for data and perspective, and gives its members a tie to one of the most influential institutions in business publishing. 📝Cynthia Johnson joined the council in 2024 — a recent marker of her move from marketing practitioner toward a wider role in leadership and management thinking, and a counterpart to the agency- and entrepreneur-focused communities she belongs to elsewhere.
