Mythos

Resourcing is finding a place in the body, or an image, that feels steady enough to return to.

A foot, a color in the room, a person who is kind. In ๐Ÿ“Somatic Practice that place is how the work stays inside the window when a hard sensation shows up. It is a method, not a diagnosis, not psychotherapy, and not a claim to a trademarked trauma protocol. A resource that the person cannot actually feel is not a resource yet.

Clients name something ordinary. If going to the resource spikes, another one is tried, or the work orients to the room. Persistent distress is a referral.
