Mythos

Constructive rest is lying on the back with knees bent and feet flat so the body can settle without effort.

The lumbar curve is supported by the bent knees; the person is not stretching or performing. In ๐Ÿ“Somatic Practice it is a position for arriving, scanning, or ending. It is a method, not a medical rest prescription, and not a claim to treat the spine. If lying on the back is not available, a chair or a side-lying version is enough.

Clients feel the floor take them. Pain, numbness, or panic is a stop โ€” change position. Persistent unexplained symptoms belong with licensed care.
