Mythos

Leg length discrepancy is one leg measuring or functioning shorter than the other.

In ๐Ÿ“Postural / Structural Realignment an apparent short side is treated as a pattern first: a rotated pelvis, a hip that will not extend, a foot that collapses. Those can shift. A bony difference cannot, and this practice does not claim to even bone or to have measured true skeletal length. Imaging and a licensed clinician own that question when it matters. The working lens is functional versus structural difference, not a medical determination.

Clients often arrive with a lift in one shoe or a story about a short leg. The useful test is whether the difference changes when the pattern changes โ€” lying versus standing, after work versus before.

This work does not correct a structural lesion. New numbness, a limb that will not bear weight, or a difference after trauma is a referral.
