Mythos

Body scan is moving attention slowly through the body region by region.

Feet, legs, pelvis, belly, chest, arms, neck, face — or a shorter path. In 📝Somatic Practice it is a map, not a test of how much the person can feel. If a region is blank or too loud, the scan pauses or skips. It is a method, not a diagnosis, and not a required meditation. Flooding means stop and orient.

Clients feel a tour. Rushing the scan to "get through it" misses the point. Panic or shutdown is a stop. Persistent unexplained symptoms belong with licensed care.
