Mythos

Occiput is the back of the skull, one of the most common craniosacral holds.

The hands cradle where the neck meets the head, at about 📝five grams. In 📝Craniosacral Therapy that hold is listening, not a suboccipital strip and not an adjustment. The word is anatomy, not a diagnosis of a cranial lesion. Dizziness, visual change, numbness, or panic is a stop. Trauma to the head or unexplained neurological change is a referral.

Clients feel a cradle, not pressure. If the neck braces, the contact is already too much.
