Mythos

Local twitch response is a quick flicker of the 📝taut band when the point is pressed or flicked.

The cord jumps under the fingers for a moment. In 📝Trigger Point Therapy that flicker is a useful confirmation that the band is live; it is not a goal to force, not a dry-needling endpoint, and not a diagnosis. This practice does not needle. A twitch that does not come is not a failed hold.

Clients feel it as a skip or a hop in the muscle. If it startles them, pressure is dropped. Repeated flicking to chase a twitch is the wrong dose.
