Lower crossed pattern is tight hip flexors and low back paired with underactive glutes and abdominals, a common desk-sitting shape.
The front of the hip and the lumbar erectors stay on; the glutes and the deep front of the belly stay underused. 📝Anterior Pelvic Tilt often rides with it. In 📝Postural / Structural Realignment this is a map for where to lengthen and where to ask for work, not a diagnosis of a syndrome and not a claim that every sitter has the same anatomy.
Clients recognize the shape: arched low back, belly forward, hips that will not stack. Work restores hip-flexor options and a pelvis that can also find neutral, then asks the back of the hip to share the standing job. Stretching the low back harder is usually the wrong lever.
Pain, numbness, or trauma is a referral.
