Felt sense is the body's pre-verbal read on a situation.
A tightness, a drop, a warmth that means something before words arrive. In ๐Somatic Practice the practitioner asks for that read rather than for a story: where is it, what is the quality, does it change. The phrase is a way of noticing, not a diagnosis, not psychotherapy, and not a claim to practice Gendlin Focusing as a certified method. If the sense is blank, that is information, not a failure.
Clients often find a word after the sensation, not before. If going inside floods, the work orients out. Persistent distress that does not settle is a referral.
