Mythos

Cool-down is the slow lowering of intensity after effort that begins recovery.

A few minutes of easier movement, then stillness. In 📝Sports Therapy it is the other bookend from a warm-up. It is a habit, not a diagnosis, and not a claim that a cool-down prevents injury. Sharp or unexplained pain after the event follows the 📝referral rule.

Clients feel the system come down. Skipping it to rush the table is how people arrive still spiked.
