Cobra is a lift of the upper body into a gentle back arch while the receiver lies face down, taken only as far as comfortable.
In 📝Thai Bodywork the practitioner supports the lift; the receiver stays passive. The stop is the 📝stretch threshold, not a yoga peak pose and not a spinal adjustment. Sharp, numb, dizzy, or panicky sensation ends it. This is not a medical back procedure.
Clients feel a supported opening through the front of the body. If the low back takes the arch as a pinch, the lift is too far. Trauma, unexplained pain, or visual change is a referral.
