Sacral hold is a hand cradling the sacrum to feel and follow its motion.
In 📝Craniosacral Therapy it is the other end of the system from the cranium, at about 📝five grams. It is not a pelvic adjustment, not a diagnosis of a sacral lesion, and not a claim that the bone is being put back. Sharp, numb, or panicky sensation is a stop. Trauma or unexplained neurological change is a referral.
Clients feel a light contact at the low back. If they feel force, the hold is already too much.
