Mythos

Resonance frequency is the individual slow breathing rate, near six breaths a minute, at which heart rate variability often peaks.

In 📝Breathwork 📝coherent breathing is the practical stand-in: five to six slow cycles, nose, equal sides. The phrase is a working picture, not a lab HRV protocol, not a diagnosis, and not a promise that a session will raise a number on a device. If six a minute is too slow, the rate rises until it is breathable.

Clients feel a slow even wave. Dizziness or panic means the rate is too slow. Chest pain is a stop.
