Mouth breathing is a more stimulating or releasing path for the breath; the nose is the default for regulation.
A long mouth exhale can dump tension. Faster mouth inhales raise alertness. In ๐Breathwork those uses are chosen, not accidental. Habitual mouth breathing at rest is information โ congestion, a pattern, a sport โ not a diagnosis. This practice does not treat apnea, and it does not run hyperventilation protocols.
Clients feel more charge or more release than a nasal cycle. If tingling, lightheadedness, or panic shows up, the mouth path is too much โ back to the nose, slower. Chest pain is a stop and a referral.
