Mythos

Functional vs. structural is whether a difference, such as leg length, comes from soft tissue and habit, which can change, or from bone, which cannot.

In ๐Ÿ“Postural / Structural Realignment the practitioner treats an apparent short side as a pattern first: a pelvis that is rotated, a hip that will not extend, a foot that collapses. Those can shift with tissue and options. A bony difference does not. This is a working lens, not a medical determination and not a claim to have measured true skeletal length. Imaging and a licensed clinician own that question when it matters.

Clients often arrive sure one leg is short. The useful test is whether the difference changes when the pattern changes โ€” lying versus standing, after work versus before โ€” not a promise to even the bones.

This work does not correct a structural lesion.
