Co-regulation is the settling that happens through calm, attuned presence with another person.
In this library it is a method of being with, not psychotherapy and not a claim the practitioner regulates the client as a medical procedure. The person can still say no. If presence floods, space or pause. Persistent distress belongs with licensed care.
Clients feel safer with someone in the room, or they don't. Both are information.
