Mythos

Unwinding is slow, spontaneous movement of the head, neck, or limbs that the practitioner follows rather than directs.

In 📝Craniosacral Therapy a hold is on; the head may begin to turn or the arm to drift. The hands track; they do not choreograph. Related to 📝Fascial Unwinding, here the movement is usually smaller and at the craniosacral ends. It is optional and consent-based. Forcing a performance of it produces guarding. Dizziness, visual change, or panic is a stop.

Clients feel an involuntary drift. If it does not happen, the session was not a failure. Unexplained neurological change is a referral.
