Mythos

Hip opener is a positioned stretch that lets the hip rotate outward or inward.

In 📝Thai Bodywork the practitioner places the leg and stays at the 📝stretch threshold. The receiver is passive. It is not a joint adjustment, not a diagnosis of a tight hip as a medical fact, and not a contest of how far the knee drops. Sharp, numb, or panicky sensation is a stop. Groin pain, a pop, or trauma is a referral.

Clients feel a supported opening. Guarding means the shape is too far.
