Mythos

Anterior chain is the muscles and fascia along the front of the body, which tend to shorten with long sitting.

Hip flexors, the front of the ribs, the chest, and the tissue that links them form one 📝line of pull. When that line shortens, the pelvis often tips forward, the ribs lift, and the head comes with them. In 📝Postural / Structural Realignment the practitioner traces that pull rather than stretching a single sore spot. The chain is a working map of 📝Fascia and muscle, not a dissected organ and not a diagnosis.

Clients feel it as a front that will not let go, or as standing tall that means thrusting the chest. Lengthening here is restoring options so the back of the body can share the load, not forcing a military pose.

Sharp unexplained pain, trauma, or a new inability to stand is a referral.
