A New Agenda for Tech is a 43-minute talk by Tristan Harris about the extractive nature of Authoritarian Technology and the founding of the Center for Humane Technology.

In the last decade, artificial social systems have hijacked and overpowered human nature. It is what Norbert Wiener labeled the Human Use of Human Beings in 1988. As Tristan puts it:

"We've got paleolithic emotions, medieval institutions, and God-like technology." ~

"The bug in human centered design is that it puts the bug in humans at the center." ~
