Kimono is an 🏷️#ai-powered personal assistant designed to automate and manage professional networks. The platform scans a user’s existing contacts to identify specific individuals or expertise within their network, facilitating warm introductions and outreach. It integrates task automation features, allowing users to schedule meetings or initiate emails through natural language commands. By surfacing relevant connections and streamlining communication logistics, it aims to eliminate the administrative burden associated with relationship management and professional networking.
Kimono represents a fascinating shift toward "serendipity on autopilot," a concept that resonates deeply with my own networking experiences. I first encountered the project through its creator, 📝Richard Titus, during a member dinner hosted by 📝The LA Grind. Meeting the founder in such an intimate, high-energy setting provided a unique lens through which to view the tool—less as a cold database and more as a digital extension of human rapport. It addresses the common anxiety of "forgotten threads" in a busy professional life, promising to transform a static list of names into a living, actionable ecosystem.
