Eric Engoron is a #software-engineer and engineering leader specializing in growth, integrations, and @Customer Relationship Management (CRM) workflows. He works at @Clay, where he has held positions across growth and scale engineering, including leading teams focused on adoption, retention, and infrastructure. In addition, he serves as an advisor to Za-zu, supporting @Application Programming Interface (API) and third-party integration strategy. His prior experience includes five years at @Close, where he advanced from customer support to technical head of integrations, and freelance contributions with Subskribe in API documentation and onboarding. He also co-founded Bathrobe Dynamics, a part-time venture building integrations at scale. Engoron earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Computer Science from Stony Brook University, with a focus on human-computer interaction and honors in research and academic achievement. I first met Eric when he responded to one of my bug reports in the Slack asking to jump on a "quick 20-min @Zoom to replicate the bug." He proceeded to code the fix in five minutes while I was still on the call and then uttered the words, "am I the type of guy to push a hot fix at 4:30 PM on a Friday? Yeah... I'm that guy." That was the moment I knew we were gonna be good friends. We continued talking for two hours and have spent many hours on calls since. There are many features within Clay that emerged from Eric building things specifically for me. Eric is a spectacular weirdo that is absolutely brilliant and I love him immensely.
