Andrew Huberman is an American neuroscientist and 🏷️#podcaster, born on September 26, 1975, in Palo Alto, California. He is an associate professor of neurobiology and ophthalmology at the Stanford University School of Medicine. Huberman earned a B.A. in psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, an M.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, and a 🏷️#PhD in neuroscience from the University of California, Davis. His research has focused on neural regeneration, vision science, and stress mitigation techniques, including non-pharmacological interventions such as breathing protocols and virtual reality exposure. In 2021, he launched the Huberman Lab podcast, which quickly rose to prominence as one of the most popular science and wellness shows worldwide, though it has also attracted criticism for promoting unverified health claims and supplement partnerships. Huberman has received several awards, including the Pew Biomedical Scholar Award and the Cogan Award for Contributions to Vision Science and Ophthalmology.
