Dungeon Crawl is a competitive card game for two to five players in which everyone races to collect and attune complete sets of armor while attacking rivals and summoning monsters to slow them down. It is subtitled "a game of armor, avarice, and things that live in the dark."
Each turn a player draws two cards and takes up to three actions — equipping armor, defending to build a pool of hit points, or attacking an opponent. Armor doubles as both the win condition and the primary weapon: an attack first depletes the defender's hit-point pool and then strips equipped armor onto the attacker's board. Victory goes to the first player to attune five complete sets in a two- or three-player game, or four sets with four or five players. The current second edition ships with 147 cards and adds spells, theft mechanics such as Pickpocket and Overpower, set bonuses, and enchantments that modify finished sets, with additional lore and world-building in development.
