Mythos

Maydan LA is a Middle Eastern and North African restaurant in 📝Los Angeles, CA from chef Rose Previte, built around a central live-fire hearth and named for the Arabic word for a public square or gathering place.

The kitchen cooks family-style over open flame, and the room is designed to feel like a bustling market beneath vaulted, tiled ceilings. Maydan LA is the West Coast sibling of Previte's Michelin-starred Maydan in Washington, DC. Alongside à la carte ordering, it offers a family-style tawle menu — tawle is Arabic for "table" — that walks diners through a broad cross-section of the kitchen in a single sitting. Dinner is served in the evenings, Tuesday through Sunday.
