Dave Martinez is a Venice-born, former police detective that has become a body-building barber and all-around badass.

History
After moving to Los Angeles in 2014, I had an 'I live in LA, I should have one of those hip(ster) barbers' moment and discovered 'Old Glory Barbershop & Tattoo' in Venice. Looking at the reviews, I saw comments like "Dave is a BRO" and "Dave just rules" alongside "Dave is a true craftsman" and "Dave offered me a beer" but my the one that did me in was "Dave is the MAN!!! Calm as a cucumber and extremely thorough on every little thing he does. Can't wait to go there again...and again... And again!!!!" Something was special about this 'Dave' guy so I booked a slot and the rest is history.
