K1 Speed is an indoor kart circuit operator founded in 2003 by David and Susan Danglard. Headquartered in Irvine, California, it manages over 100 locations across the United States, Canada, and several international markets including Europe and Asia. The company utilizes OTL electric karts capable of reaching speeds up to 45 miles per hour. It also hosts the Challenge GP racing leagues and the E-World Championship, which offers a significant prize pool for competitive indoor karting.
For group events, it’s like $75 per person and you get to do a whole Grand Prix (three races with free practice, qualifying, and the main race). I’m going back again with a community of founders in a few weeks.
My fastest lap at the Culver K1 is 31.7 seconds.
