Ben Lee is an American serial 🏷️#entrepreneur, twice-exited founder, and operator-coach currently based in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, building re:center and adjacent wellness, hospitality, and community projects under the YoBenLee brand.
Lee started early — working through nightclub and restaurant operating roles overseeing more than $20 million in revenue before he turned eighteen — and has since founded or led seven businesses spanning software, food and beverage, entertainment, and real estate. He co-founded Rootstrap, the digital-development studio that grew to roughly three hundred employees across Los Angeles, New York, Uruguay, and Argentina before his 2020 exit, and oversaw the launch of more than a thousand apps during his agency tenure.
