**Domain Name Poker **is poker tournament series where participants gamble using their portfolio of website domains in place of currency-backed chips. During the tournament, participants share the 📝Meticulously Ridiculous stories that led to them owning the domains they're putting on the line.

Prior to the tournament, domains are ranked based on factors such as their stage of development and marketability to be assigned a chip-value within the game. Smaller-stake games are played by breaking domains into equity pieces with the majority holder at game's end winning full ownership.

The winner of each event receives a monetary prize—based on the number of entrants and buy-in amounts—and access to a development team to build out one of their newly acquired domains.
