Space-Made is the 2021 Spatial Summit, where builders and stewards come together to share and learn about creating space where community thrives and capital compounds. This year's summit will take place virtually over seven days, across multiple Topia worlds from May 18th to May 24th.
Now is a pivotal moment in the evolution of culture and capital—no longer can companies extract from the communities they claim to serve. Bringing people together is top of mind for companies across all sectors. We're moving from a "nice to do" to a crucial component of modern companies.
Creating and connecting communities across IRL and URL dimensions is quickly becoming a pivotal element for organizations from small to large. Similarly, many areas of commerce are evolving from being a transaction to being a co-creative exchange. Bringing people together is the new gold rush.
Space-made: The Spatial Society Summit brings executives curious about bringing people together with community professionals in a six-day extravaganza of gathering, learning, and creating to bridge the gap between space makers and community leaders.
Attendees will come away with a solid foundation of how to build community spaces and, from them, community-led companies. Executives will better understand what space is and why they should care about it, and community builders will feel empowered and armed with the knowledge of how to advocate for their team and work closely with decision-makers at their organization.
The summit is brought to you by the Spatial Society and One Inc Cooperative, and we'll be in touch with you leading up to the conference with all the info you need. In the meantime, join us in topia.io/citizens and our forum for daily discussion about all things community-led!

Reflections
"When you go looking for something or someone, you expend energy searching for something to bring it back to a place that wasn't prepared. When you make space, it comes to you like water rushing into a hole that's been dug in the sand."
